NMI Automotive Electronics Study 2010

NMI is working to investigate opportunities to increase the local content of vehicles manufactured in the UK (and EU) with respect to electronic components and systems. A particular focus for this study will be the needs of the Low Carbon sector (inc. internal combustion engine, electric and hybrid vehicles).

In follow-up to the successful NMI Automotive Electronics Event held at Warwick University 22-23 June, this questionnaire has been commissioned to solicit industry data and opinions from across the supply chain to inform this study. Your support and cooperation in completing and returning just one of the two sets of questions attached would be most helpful and appreciated.

Please download and complete the questionnaire [136kB] most applicable to your company’s business interests:

Vehicle & Drivetrain Mfr: Please complete this section if your UK organisation is concerned with manufacture or assembly of vehicles, engines, transmissions, hybrid drive systems or EV electric motors.

System & Component Mfr: Please complete this section if your UK organisation is concerned with manufacture or assembly of electronic systems, sub-systems, components or software, for automotive applications.

Should you deem neither section to be directly applicable, but you would still like to register your company views, please contact NMI using the details below.
